Everybody in Colán knows señora Rosemary. When you arrive, just ask a local and he/she will point you in the right direction. There is a big white sign outside of the house which says “Rosemary’s”.
Colán is a small beach town in the province of Piura, Northern Peru. There are a few restaurants and shops in town. Colán is also home to the oldest colonial church in South America, built in 1536.
There are no ATM’s or banks in Colán. To do major shopping and access ATM’s you can go to the city of Paita which is 15 minutes away by colectivo or taxi.
The closest airport is in Piura. Buses run frequently to/from Paita and the trip takes about 45 minutes.
